eighteen94 capital | Brand Identity

Kellogg’s internal venture capital arm, eighteen94 capital, needed a brand identity that felt modern, intelligent, and connected to their parent company’s legacy—without feeling corporate or dated.

I developed a range of logo concepts, each exploring different visual interpretations of the name and its historical reference (1894 being the year Kellogg’s was founded). The selected logo strikes a balance between bold simplicity and forward-thinking sophistication.

The final mark uses a custom typographic treatment that integrates the numbers 18 and 94 directly into the wordmark—highlighting the brand’s heritage while keeping the look fresh and contemporary. A full style guide was created to ensure consistency across digital and print applications.
